Body Mount Kit - 1 Inch Lift

Tailgate Bumpstops

“More difficult to install without damage to paint”

This is my second set of Daystar spare tire bumpers, as I changed to a different tire size. The polymer material has changed (softer), and the molded screw threads on each bumper no longer fits into the tailgate mounting holes without a lot of coercion. What was a simple no-brainer job now requires patience and great care to install without damaging the paint on the the tailgate. I almost sent them back, no joke. Now that they are on they do work fine, albeit with at least one scratch to the paint. Not happy about that. \nI dont see why Daystar had to change the injection molds as the previous version installed without problem by comparison. Editors note: Daystar will change the product to improve it in their opinion to make the kit easier to install or make the kit more durable.

tried putting on vehicle required too much modification to fit directly. Directions didnt suggest cutting or grinding to fit. Editors Note: I looked at the instructions and there was one modification that had to be done. It was cutting off a location nipple on the OEM spring isolator with a pair of wire cutters. No other modification needed.

“The quality and fit of the parts was exceptional.”

The quality and fit of the bushings was perfect and the cab height spot on after installation. I highly recommend getting the bushing an sleeve kit right of the start. You will likely not get the original sleeves apart easily. The new sleeves fit perfectly as well. I was able to use my original bolts. I highly recommend these parts for a perfect repair or upgrade.

Since we were replacing a 3" lift put in by a prior owner onto the factory rubber mounts, that had collapsed, Installation required only a small amount of jacking. Getting the old rusted bolts out was the biggest problem we faced. SKIL Saws All, managed to solve that challenge.

I have nothing bad to say about the body mounts. They were a perfect fit and got rid of squeaks and banging and all sorts of other weird sounds. The only problem I had was getting the old ones off. That sucked. Getting the bolts out was easy with a little heat from the map torch, the problem was the upper and lower shells were rusted together. Particularly the very rearmost position. Once the old ones were out and part it didnt take 45 minutes per side to put them back. \nI knew the job would suck, thats why Ive put it off, but your body mounts worked out great. Plus theyre hard to find for that year Explorer.

The steer stabilizer was completely wore out about a year and eight months into its life, im definitely not impressed with its longevity, it did its job for the most part while it could but i could feel that it was whats known as a "white body shock" meaning it felt cheap, the body began rusting immediately and it was not long before it was unrecognizable and i live in the south where we dont use as much salt in the winter so to me that says something about the quality of the outer coating. I knew it was time to replace it when i began experiencing death wobble after hitting certain bumps or angled bridge approaches and i was right because upon removal the rod would slide in and out of the shock body on its own just by flipping the shock up and down. I have since replaced the steer stabilizer and the shocks that i got from the same manufacturer and installed at the same time, with fox racing 2.0 stainless IFP shocks and the difference, even from day one, is night and day but the price point will tell that same story as well, since a single one of the fox shocks cost more than the entire kit from scorpion.

Overall the kit is better than blown-out factory bushings. Its also cheaper to buy this whole kit vs the single bushings from Ford to replace the bad ones as needed. My initial impressions of the kit were that the instructions lacked some much-needed detail and were extremely generic. Ive been a professional auto technician for 18 years so I was able to figure them out but for the average DIY home guy I could see them being a major issue. Also the provided sleeve inserts are extremely cheaply made. I actually had one complete break at the welds when torquing down to the recommended value. I even emailed your company so there would be a paper trail since this was a serious safety concern and I was worried about others breaking in the future. Luckily since the kit covered several model years I had two spare sleeves that I was able to use so my truck was not disabled. After the install the mounts were squeaky. Even with using liberal amounts of lube on the cups and sleeves. Fortunately, the rubber squeak sound was only noticeable at low speeds and with the windows down. Annoying but still better than the blown-out factory bushings clanking around. I sold the truck 6 months later for other reasons so now its someone elses issue. And he never reached out and complained about it so I guess theres that. In short: needs better-printed instructions and better hardware.

Great kit. I looked in all the usual online and local parts places with no luck finding the parts for my 2003 Explorer Sport with 225,000 miles. I didnt see instructions on the site but when I contacted the online help desk the nice lady sent me a link to the pdf file with great instructions. Took me a while to install the bushings because of the crappy weather and my aversion to working on cold, wet driveway. After the weather improved I knocked it out in a couple of days (a young person could do it quicker but Im 79). Tip = a good heat gun works wonders on an 18-year-old thread-lock.

“Spot on replacement bushings kit, cheap, quick delivery, not a universal kit”

Saved my 2001 Explorer Sport with only 150K mi. Took it to a local mechanic I had dealt with for years. Four and a half hours later and two inches in height taller it felt like new. He had just purchased a new rack with a smaller lift built in. They were able to lift the whole cab straight up all at once to install the new bushings. Do your self a favor and let professionals with the right equipment do the job if you can afford it. Good for 150K more.

You sent me the wrong part! I asked to return them, you declined to answer...they are sitting in my desk drawer un-used BECAUSE your application guide was incorrect. WASTE OF MONEY! These are clearly NOT for a 1997 Dodge Dakota RWD....Its some JEEP PART. Editors Note: Customer was sent a RMA with a return label on 1-8-19. The bump stop was not returned. Since it has been 2 years we could not accept the return now 1-7-2021.

Hello, \nI found this kit to be excellent. Everything fit perfectly and the instructions were great. I do have a suggestion about removing the old bushings and hardware. I worked alone on this install. To remove the bolts, I found that drilling a 5/16 hole through the top hardware piece and just into the old bushing about 1/2 inch, was the easiest thing to do to keep it from turning. I inserted a flat nose punch in the hole to hold it from turning. This made it much easier to remove the bolt and I could work mainly from the top side. After loosening the bolt, I used a hammer to drive the bolt downward to separate the hardware pieces. PB blaster worked good for the rusty threads and hardware pieces. Thank you for making the kit. The factory bushings are junk and should have been recalled. My Sport has 170,000 miles on it and has needed these bushings for at least 100,000 miles. I am very satisfied and will recommend you to any future contacts with the same problem.

“Terrible design”

When putting these on an f-150 the nut/stud combo doesnt tighten all the way down and the rubber isnt thick enough leading to studs on stock struts that push through and the weight of the truck resting solely on three studs. Worst design ever. Editor Notes: In the instructions it states that you may have to shorten the OEM studs an 1/8 of an inch. If not done the stud extenders included with the kit will be too long and cause the issue you are referring to. The weight of the F150 should rest on the polyurethane plate. NOT the studs. Before attempting the installation read the step by step instructions and if you have any questions call our sales reps for help.

Hood Latch Upgrade - JK Wrangler - Red

Use a pair of side-cut pliers to remove the stock pins. Took me about 3 minutes a side. I thought I was going to have to spend $100 plus to solve the hood flutter but these hood latches are just what the doctor ordered and at a fraction of the cost. I do not remember the flutter being so bad on the TJ I used to own. The red does compliment the Rubicon red highlights.

I wouldnt have anything else! They do need retorqued on regular basis. But I clean my rig, lube and retorque after every log ride. Standard eye bushing and bolt setups would be seizing and dont what this does to as simple as it is!

There were no instructions with the parts! I did go online and download some, but what if you did not have access to to do that? Also, there was no real definition of what position each part went in, even with the instructions. Yes, I figured it out, but there was some trial and error which could be eliminated with clear position markings on the parts along with a revision, (and inclusion) of instructions. Editors Notes: It would be very hard to have the position molded into the mount. They do have a number molded in them and if you will look at the instructions it clearly shows the molded in number and its position. If you do not have access to the internet or printer ask a friend or family that could help you with that.If you have any questions you can call 888-406-2330 for help Monday thru Friday for advice.

I have been driving on this kit for a week now and I do like the bushings over the stock. However, The instructions are vague. I am a professional mechanic, and someone with basic hand tools would not be able to complete this job. First off, there is no mention in the instructions for having to Reuse the OEM End Washers on the Lower Bushings. I had to drive them off of the old bushings with an Air Hammer and then cut the holes to 1 inch diameter with a hole saw in order for them to fit over the Daystar Sleeve. I also Had to use a trim washer on the Rear Most Bushing and washer to get the proper spacing. I think Daystar needs to spend a little more time in the shop and less time in the engineering room. Otherwise Its a good product. Well see how they last in Interior Alaska.

“Poor quality control of manufactured body mount threaded washers”

After researching Daystar mounting hardware they apparently have an issue with the manufacturing of the body mount threaded washers. While attempting to torque the threaded washers and bolts within the range of Daystar instructions 5 of the 8 washers broke prior to 50 lbs and the package was missing 4 of 8 lower body mounts required to complete the job, as a result, old OEM parts were used put the truck together to get it out of the shop until it can be fixed. Daystar needs to have better quality control to ensure the proper products and quality of product to ensure the safety of the motoring public. Editors Note: This customer had an issue with the washer/nut assemblies. The welds were not good and the nut broke away from the washer. We have sent out replacements and Daystar is looking into the issue.

installed all but the mounts by the radiator. to be honest the old mount were so far gone that it would be impossible for me to do a side by side comparison. (bought vehicle used) they fit great, dont squeak and make the truck feel solid. I dont think they make the ride feel more stiff but they do transfer some road vibration which I dont find objectionable. in my opinion the feel translates to a better overall road feel. i will say that these were installed using air impact gun and we did break a couple of the welds holding the stud receiver to the donut shaped metal piece. We simply substituted a couple of the original ones. Looking at the welds they could have been done better as there was some rust between the stud receiver and the donut where the weld material did not bond. Overall pleased with the product. Editors note: Over torquing the bolts with an impact probably broke the welds on the washer/sleeve assembly. The torque spec is 80-90 foot pounds on those bolts.

Went on easy 2 years ago, but when I tried to take them off after a year to transfer to my new car, the small screws that clamp the two pieces together seized. I had no way to take them off so I just left them on.. they worked to keep the bar from drifting too much laterally, but dont plan on removing them if you do any driving in the winter.

I am not too happy that Ford would put such crappy mounts from the factory. My truck (2008) only has a little over 60,000 miles on it. They are a bad job to change because you cant use an air gun to get the bolts out because of the crappy nut retention system in the cab. The new ones dont look like the original but fit fine. The body seems to ride a little stiffer than before and you seem to pick up a little more road noise but that does not bother me. I would buy them again.

They installed easy after removing the old ones, the cab sits at the right height now. I was concerned about the diameter being a little smaller than OE bushings. You just have to make sure they are centered up when installed. No more clunking sound when I hit every bump. I ended up using all the original bolts since the one in the hardware kit were not the same length and some ended up being too long.

I had a pretty "squeeky" cab on my 2011 F250 -- one look at the body mounts and it was clear what the problem was. The factory rubber mounts had rotted away -- bought this kit with hardware because it was the polyurethane material. Installation is easy - I had to drill out the threaded spacers and use my factory bolts because the bolts provided did not fit -- but that was no big deal. It solved the problem. Driving review is that these are a bit stiffer than the rubber ones -- some extra vibration in the cab is noticeable, but slight.

Achieves goal of lifting the vehicle with minimal affects on factory suspension. Unlike many aftermarket lifts, factory ride and suspension performance is not compromised. Additional benefit besides tire and frame clearance is actual increase in ground clearance at front differential! We installed this lift at home, but we used a different procedure to remove the front struts-check Youtube for better procedures than Daystar uses. Get a good alignment shop afterwards, it is worth the money to have it done right. Excellent kit, vehicle ends up close to level when completed.

I was searching and searching for quality patio table ring replacement as mine had deteriorated, the umbrella wedge, I believe, is the product I have been searching for. The plastic rings available in most hardware stores are not the proper size to fit my table and causes the umbrella to tilt. I tried the umbrella wedge and it sits a little more than midway I really like the snug fit around the umbrella as well. I am happy with it as its far surpasses those cheap ill fitting umbrella table rings. I recommend it, worth the money as every year I replaced those awful cheap commercial market patio rings.

Structurally these parts have been no issue. I replaced shocks and struts while I was at it but I have to say Ive never had anything rattle so much. The least little bump and it sounds like the whole front end is falling out. Now the left rear is rattling. God forbid I hit a real chuck-hole. Ive had them checked repeatedly at Kauffman Tire, Goodyear, so-on and they all say nothing is loose. They say this brand is known to rattle. Is that true?? How annoying. Im ready to take them out and toss them as far as I can. I stay after this car and honestly it sounds like an Ill cared for rattle trap. Its embarrassing. Editor"s note: I contacted DayStar about this issue. Their tech support team told me that the strut plates were not tightened properly or the strut plate was not installed right.

I ordered the kit for my 2010 F-350 based on other reviews and my disappointment with the OEM product. My mechanic at first refused to install the kit, insisting that the bushings would not work. Daystar customer support called my mechanic (who has done this job many times before using the OEM parts) and spoke with him and convinced him that the kit will work properly. Installation reportedly went in accordance with the detailed instructions included in the kit. The truck cab now lines up perfectly with the bed and the ride is much quieter and smoother. I am very happy with the price point, the final installed result, and the willingness of DST customer service to speak with my mechanic.

Just got through installing this kit on a 2001 Explorer Sport 2 door and couldnt be more impressed with the fitment. Although the listing doesnt include the 2001 model, this particular vehicle required the same mounts from 2001 to 2003. Be prepared to curse at the excess Loctite on the bolts and the bushing shells that stick together occasionally. Hopefully theyll offer a set with hardware one day so you can just get hateful on the old parts with a cutoff wheel and not fight them. Until then this is the kit youre looking for. It sure beats paying the dealer $2800 for the same junk parts that fell apart on you once already.\n

I have a 2001 Tacoma with the TRD off road package. I installed overload springs on the rear as I haul heavy loads often. This resulted in the front end nose diving a bit, so I decided to install this 1" leveling kit to compensate. Im a professional mechanic so the installation was easy as I installing new front struts at the same time. Im very pleased with the results and only had to adjust front toe to correct the alignment change after installation. Great product IMO.

These are terrible! Temperature swings affect them. In the cold, below 50*, they move around a lot, making popping noises worse than the worn out stock ones. I had to re-tighten them twice in an attempt to stop the noise. After the second time i removed and replaced them with OEM bushings. Instant fix. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, DO NOT BUY THESE! Editors Note: We have sold several of these body mounts. The issues we have seen is the mounts were not in the correct positions or the bolts were not torqued to OEM specs. Do not over torque the bolts. Daystar does recommend that the bolts are re-torqued after 500 miles.

I was a bit nervous when I started the install but it turned out a lot easier than I thought. Make sure you get a trolley jack with a good lift height and some good wooden blocks. Heat up the bolts first to loosen the factory Loctite and have a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water on hand just in case. Lift one side up first as high as you can just under the drivers or passengers seat on the frame rails, the side with the parking brake cable gets a little fiddly, some people take this off I managed to get the old bushing out and the new bushing in with removing the cable. The old bushings were stuck on the bushing holder/mounts, put them in a vise and twist them off with a large pair channel locks, they crumble apart when you do this and it makes a mess. Both sides on my own took me most of the day (should have had someone help me!). The ride afterwards was amazing, no more heavy clunking and squeaking over smallest bumps in the street and the rear of the vehicle was at least 1.5" higher again. Cant beat the price, if you can get someone to help you, getting up and down a lot takes most of the time. No complaints or issues and well worth doing. These explorers can go on for a very long time and I intend keeping this car for a few more years.\n\nGood luck and dont hesitate to do this upgrade.\n

Last year we purchased 23 of these (both brown and black) to see if they would keep umbrella poles secure in the umbrella holes and keep the pole from enlarging the hole. They worked great with lighter weight tables. With our really heavy tables we added a collar to keep the umbrella from flying away. We now order a wedge for every new table we buy (the company I work for has over 120 swimming pools in eight states; thats a bunch of tables. Thank you Daystar for providing a simple solution for a common problem.

After reviewing pictures and information about this product online, I ordered them. They arrived on time and in a sealed package. I thought they would be a bit "beefier" and strong but in truth, they are very slim. I wonder how long they will last and if the screws are strong enough to hold the constant movements of the sway bar. I have yet to install them on the car, just hope they do the job.

Sold as a premium replacement part but in reality a undersized fit all multi application stop gap. Overpriced cheap replacement would not buy again, With todays time restraints it will have to do. Typical pig in a poke. Editors Note: The Daystar kit has a smaller OD than the OEM body mounts. This is to help align the body to the bed. The height of the mount is designed to be the same height as the OEM mount would be when that mount is tightened. Poly Urethane mounts do not crush when the bolt is torqued. We have sold 100s of these kits and have had no issues with the fitment.

I have an issue with the lower control arm bushings. They are rocking forward and back in the mounting tubes when I go from forward to reverse. Im wanting to get this taken care of because it sounds like something is seriously wrong with my front suspension. Editors Note: With this kit you need to reuse the outer shell and washers. In this case the customer did not reuse the OEM washers that keep the bushing from rocking front to back. Be sure to follow the instructions or call DST if you need any advice when installing bushings.

“Should come with metal sleeves for press in, and needs to come with way more lubricant.”

Removing the old bushings and saving the sleeves is very laborious. This parts should come with the metal sleeves so that the parts could be pressed in, saving time and money. The package came with two tiny tubes of lubricant, which is not nearly enough to completely lube all the bushings sleeves and metal inserts. The one nice thing about these bushings is that the inner sections have voids to hold lubricant, which most other manufacturers do not do when casting bushings.

These are much stiffer then the factory rubber hood straps, much better fit and finish as well. The old problem being of the hood flapping, fluttering or lifting, whatever you chose to call it. These hood straps have completely eliminated the issue, as well as the extra stress that it puts on the fenders. If you�re looking for a replacement for a failed factory set or just replacement of the poorly designed rubber ones. I definitely recommend these things.

Still having problems with the truck mounts. Makes a lot of noise (squeaking and rattling) and it doesnt seem to matter if youre driving straight or turning. Had the truck back to the shop several times and they greased it but that didnt help either. Ford should address this issue and I have filed a complaint about the body mounts. Cant say for sure if its the parts, installation, or the truck.

Suspension Lift Kit Combo - 2.5 Inch Front 2 Inch Rear with Shocks

“Well my truck has a vibration from take off and I replaced all the ujoints and carrier bearing to try and take care of the problem and its still there”

I have about $1500 into this modification and I still have the vibration in my truck. My truck ran perfectly fine before I did the mod but the Ford dealer tells me that I am getting the vibration because of the pinion angle to the carrier. I would like a total refund of my money. Editors Note: It is very important to follow the instructions supplied. The lift blocks are marked front and rear. They are built at an angle and if not installed correctly it will cause a vibration in the drive line. Also the U-Bolts must be torqued and rechecked after 500 miles of driving.

Installed on a 2002 4WD Ford Excursion. Over all my opinion on the kit is its a good design, the units bolt in well the vehicle has a very different feel to it. Its as if the bumps are there but they do not jar the truck, they are more solid and than the factory bushings. Over all I am very impressed with the ride. One side note that I am willing to bet every ford guy would be after, the metal mount pieces. If you can offer these to the market as an option on this kit I am willing to bet you stand to make a fair return on investment. I can say with out a doubt most people will destroy the metal parts trying to remove them.

Smart Car Lift Kit - 2 Inch

Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I did have to replace some of the supplied hardware with correct thread pitch. The lift allowed for tire size of 185/65/15. I am running rear rims on all four corners. Now the ground clearance at the swing arm bottoms is 6", with 8" to 8.5" of clearance elsewhere. This modification will require alignment, as with any suspension modification. Also I have installed a performance motor mount(big difference), and better plugs. This is my daily commuter. I run the OEM rims with winter tires in the Winter, lots of fender to tire clearance. This combo will produce big rooster tails, but nobody tailgates me. Thank you for a quality product that has proven itself over many miles. Will this product continue to be available? If so, I will be purchasing again for the next Smart project car.

“My 2003 Explorer Sport rides like new. Not the easeist repair to do, but results are worth it.”

The parts for position 1,3 and 5 are pretty straight forward. In a 2003 positions 2 and 4 are quite different than earlier designs where there are 4 pieces to the origional uppers. In the 2003 there is the washer/stem rubber and molded locater. I saved the molded locaters and trimmed it to fit inside the upper cushions for 2 and 4. Did not need the 4 little pieces. The hardest part was getting the parking brake cable apart and out of the way.

Well since you asked! The bushings for the "C" pillar didnt fit well. After about 10 months, they were loose and couldnt be tightened any more. Your sales department sent another pair to replace the loose ones. These fit the same, too small. I combined part of the first set and the second set to make a tight fit. So far (200 miles or so) every thing is fine. Thanks for caring.

Ive just finished putting a Daystar 2 "lift kit in my 2009 Dodge Nitro and am very pleased with the results. The ride height of the car went up considerably and increase equal to the front and rear. It formed a space for a particle larger tires and I decided to put the car on 17 "rims and winter tires. The suspension increase the functionality of the car a lot, both in winter and off road driving. The insertion was easy, very good instructions and all did fit very accurately.\nI am very pleased with the results. I bought these bushings to replace what was left of the factory body mount bushings on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. It sounded like the car was falling apart every time I hit a bump. Or the door ajar light would come on because it banged so hard.\n I ordered online and received the kit the same week. The only problem was that I didnt receive one pair of bushings required for my year model. A call to customer service fixed that quickly .\n The instructions were helpful and sufficient for anyone that is mechanically inclined. My12 year old and I completed the whole job in a weekend.\n Make sure you dont go light on the penetrating oil on the old hard ware. Once we got the interior removed , I soaked the bolts and threaded hardware down with PB Blaster and let it sit over night. Also use vice grips to hold the old mounting hardware in place while trying to loosen the bolts. I wasted a lot of time not knowing the hardware was turning with the bolts.\n Once we got the first bolts loose, everything went quick after that.\n The old Explorer rides so much better . And I am no longer scared to slam on the brakes for fear that the body might l come off the frame. \n I still cant figure out what material Ford made the factory bushings out of . But there was hardly anything left of it when I got everything apart.\n I have no doubt that these new daystar bushings will out last the rest of the car.\n\n

The support bushing that Ford had installed on my 2001 explorer Sport decomposed in an unbelievable fashion, never expected this.\nWhen I went to the dealer to complain and also to show the many complaints of other explorer owners I had found on the internet they shrugged.\nThe rattling of the body hitting the frame on the back of the car was driving me crazy. At the dealership they wanted 800 dollars for the four support bushings that go on the back. I needed an easy way to apply lubricant to my greaseable sway bar bushings. The bushings have zerk fittings on them, so I wanted to use a grease gun that would just fire in grease through the zerk fittings instead of having to dismantle the bushings / brackets in order to grease them. \n\nThis grease gun from Daystar really fit the bill. It includes grease specifically designed for polyurethane bushings, and seems to be a really high quality grease gun.\n\nI really like the compactness of it, but I didnt realize that this uses a much smaller grease cartridge than a typical grease gun. Good thing it comes with a cartridge!

There is one suggestion I would like to make. The bolts and nut were rusted and in bad condition, much time was wasted getting the off. These are much better that stock parts! When you install these, you must remove both lower intercooler boots! We did not and ended up having to replace all four of them. The lower boots were stretched when the cab body was raised to install the suspension parts.

I installed these on my 2008 FJ Cruiser and could not be happier. Install only took about an hour per side, and the ride quality is completely unchanged which is good, as I was afraid they would be squeaky. A friend had installed aluminum spacers on his, and they squeaked every time the suspension moved. I cant even tell these are there! I did have to install the 1.5" rear kit to get it level, but that was even easier than the fronts. All the bushings fit the frame of my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport except the two front bushings. The shape of the inserts were round and the frame opening was oblong. Luckily mine were not in as bad of shape as the rest so I left them in. With that said, the shipping was very fast and I would do business with them again. I upgraded my tire and wheels on my 13 Rubicon. The stock bumpers were to short to make contact with the tire. The new Daystar bumper worked perfect after I shortened it one notch. Now I dont have to worry about the new 35" tire wobbling on the stock OEM tire carrier.

I bought these bump stops for my 1990 Toyota pickup truck. The old ones rusted out and fell off. I had to modify the mounting holes to get them to fit but its not much of a job if you have a drill and bit. The support people were super helpful with my questions and provided me with the information I needed to buy the parts, especially since they were not made for my vehicle. The polyurethane bumpers are a definite upgrade from the factory rubber stops.

Please add to instructions that the 4 small bushings ( M02542 ) are to be inserted into each (M02545/6) bushing set. Also note that the (S10126) Washers are installed on the bottom of the (M02540) bushings. I found it extremely helpful to heat each lower factory steel shell with a heat gun / blow dryer for a few minutes to loosen the factory applied Loctite prior to loosening each bolt. I strongly suggest an impact wrench for the bolts as well.

The kit did just what it said it would, it raised the car. It was complete with everything you needed including a little satchel of Loctite for the nuts and bolts. Seems to be of good quality and the instructions were thorough. Another note is that the website lists them as a 2" lift whereas the instructions lists it as a 2.5" lift. All in all, still extremely happy with the product and would definitely buy again!

I had my mechanic install the bushings because all of mine had completely crumbled,except for the ones under the radiator. It took him 31/2 hours to install. I am very happy with the performance and the ride with the new bushings installed.I think there is probably a lot of Sport Trac owners out there that would love to know about these bushings. I looked for a long time before finding them. I would recommend these to anybody that is having the same problem with rotting bushings, as I had. By all rights Ford should have a recall due to safety reasons. I did everything I could to get something done. Ford has a bit more leverage than me. So for the time being, these bushings are your best bet.

Overall seems to be a great product for a good price compared to the dealership. The only problem I had was in the front (radiator) mounts. I was not able to replace these because the slot in the frame is round and the mounting plate on the new mounts are more oval in shape. It is possible that I may have been able to force or hammer them in but my original mounts in the front were ok so I just left them alone and tightened them back. I just replaced the others and had no problem with the fit. The numbered parts were very easy to read and match up with the proper location.

BASIC REVIEW: got rid of the annoying squeeking and crunching that the worn out oem was making but produced a bit more engine and road noise than the oem. BIG PROBLEM: the rear c-pillar mounts did not fit my 02 sport trace because they were not as "tall" as the oem and the existing metal sleeves when put together were taller than the mount but in my case the rear oem mounts did not need replacing so i just left them. also... i had to loosen and lift the bed for clearance when the body was lifted. the rocker molding attached to the cab will rise and hit the bed in front of the rear tire when the cab is lifted. this wasn't a big deal... it just wasn't listed as a necessary step in the instructions.

Bolt-in extended bump stop - front or rear

“Exactly what I wanted and expected”

Bump stops are intended for the front or rear of TJs, but I used them on the front of a 1988 XJ Cherokee. Worked great as a direct replacement of the factory bump stops.

Front Suspension Lift - 2 Inch

“Great product, extremely pleased!!!!”

After receiving this product it sat on the garage shelf for a couple of months before I got around to install it. I installed it with just a little help from a friend. I did it in my dirt driveway with very basic and minimal tools. This is definitely not the ideal way to install this product, but I believe this shows how easy it is to install the product. After I finished the installation I took my truck to get an alignment. Once the alignment was finished I took my truck for a spin and it now rides amazing. I was also able to fit 33" tires without any clearance issues. Overall I am very pleased.

Body Mount Bushings and Radiator Support Bushings

I'm grateful for the Daystar Super Kit. It is the reason I love my truck again. 2001 Ford Explorer Sport had rotted body mounts. They were shipped quickly, I installed with a friend, it was easy with the clear instructions included. I'm a very happy customer, who would recommended this kit to anyone who needs a smoother ride.
