The only problem I had was in the front (radiator) mounts. I was not able to replace these because the slot in the frame is round and the mounting plate on the new mounts are more oval in shape. It is possible that I may have been able to force or hammer them in but my original mounts in the front were ok so I just left them alone and tightened them back. I just replaced the others and had no problem with the fit. The numbered parts were very easy to read and match up with the proper location. |

It took him 31/2 hours to install. I am very happy with the performance and the ride with the new bushings installed.I think there is probably a lot of Sport Trac owners out there that would love to know about these bushings. I looked for a long time before finding them. I would recommend these to anybody that is having the same problem with rotting bushings, as I had. By all rights Ford should have a recall due to safety reasons. I did everything I could to get something done. Ford has a bit more leverage than me. So for the time being, these bushings are your best bet. |

BASIC REVIEW: got rid of the annoying squeeking and crunching that the worn out oem was making but produced a bit more engine and road noise than the oem. BIG PROBLEM: the rear c-pillar mounts did not fit my 02 sport trace because they were not as "tall" as the oem and the existing metal sleeves when put together were taller than the mount but in my case the rear oem mounts did not need replacing so i just left them. also... i had to loosen and lift the bed for clearance when the body was lifted. the rocker molding attached to the cab will rise and hit the bed in front of the rear tire when the cab is lifted. this wasn't a big deal... it just wasn't listed as a necessary step in the instructions. |

After I finished the installation I took my truck to get an alignment. Once the alignment was finished I took my truck for a spin and it now rides amazing.
